Dr. Imam Umer Ahmed Ilyasi, Chief Imam, All India Imam Organization, a representative body of half a million Imams of India heads the largest Imam Organisation in the world having its global headquarter in London, United Kingdom. He has the distinction of addressing the three UN headquarters, UNHRC, the European Parliament, the Canadian Parliament, House of Commons and House of Lords, Chatham House, the Royal Institute of International Affairs, a world class Think Tank based in London and many other international forums on global warming, Anti Semitism, poverty alleviation, nuclear disarmament, HIV Aids and anti terrorism. His deep engagement with interfaith dialogue and conflict resolution gets him hundreds of national and international awards.

He is the recipient of the highest civil awards of Abu Dhabi and UAE for his contribution in global peace. His association with world religious organisations, bodies and figures takes him to Pope in VATICAN, the Chief Rabbinate in Israel, Imam-e-Haram, Saudi Arabia, Dalai Lama, the Nobel Laureate and the likes around the world. He is the first Imam to have the honour of nomination as Lieutenant Governor to the Middle East Continent for IOED to represent IOED in the Middle East region. He extensively travels both domestically and internationally. As a spiritual Master, he carries with him a highly distinguished list of devotees cutting across all religions and opinions.
